We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Counter Manager for our largest flagship shop-in-shop at David Jones Elizabeth St, Sydney, who leads and is responsible for overall customer experience and business performance. This is a permanent part time role with base weekly roster of 30hrs. The right candidate should have min 2 years of successful counter management experience within luxury beauty across flagship stores/counters and overall min of 3yrs beauty industry experience (ideally within skincare).

  3. Sincere passion for clean, cruelty free, natural beauty and sustainability
  4. Beauty trend savvy, active and knowledgeable in social media and the ability to run virtual events and live streaming
  5. Available to work on a flexible roster including weekends (3 weekends per month), late evening trading and peak trading periods including Christmas period and boxing day
  6. Proven track record in achieving sales targets and KPIs
  7. Ownership and pro-active approach toward the business
  8. Impeccable presentation, grooming and the willingness to follow the grooming/make up guidelines and the brand uniform at all times
  9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills including reporting

  2. Monthly activity and event pre planning and execution of all counter operations
  3. Delivery of the counter sales objectives and positive customer reviews
  4. Daily KPI reporting
  5. Inspiring People Management
  6. Inventory management
  7. Training David Jones Beauty/Body & Soul team members
  8. Live streaming to drive sales through social media platforms
  9. Virtual and physical event planning, management and achievement of the event KPIs
